QIU Dentistry Student Participates in Oral Health Awareness Visit to Runaki Institute for Blind Students

A student from the Faculty of Dentistry at Qaiwan International University participated in an oral health awareness visit to Runaki Institute for Blind Students, in collaboration with other organizations, to promote oral health and encourage good oral hygiene practices.

During the visit, an educational presentation was delivered on dental caries, covering its causes, signs, symptoms, and preventive measures. Students also received practical guidance on proper toothbrushing techniques, the importance of brushing twice daily, and the use of fluoride toothpaste.

Additionally, dental checkups were conducted to assess students’ oral health and identify potential dental problems requiring further attention.

This participation highlights the active involvement of QIU dentistry students in community outreach activities and their commitment to promoting oral health awareness and preventive dental care among individuals with visual impairments.
