The Faculty of Dentistry at Qaiwan International Dentistry / Qaiwan International University provides a modern, student-centered learning environment equipped with advanced laboratories and up-to-date clinical facilities that meet international standards. The faculty was established in academic collaboration with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia, ensuring high-quality education that integrates strong theoretical foundations with hands-on practical training. Well-equipped pre-clinical laboratories, simulation units, and specialized dental labs—such as prosthodontics and restorative dentistry—allow students to develop essential skills using contemporary dental technologies.
A key strength of the program is its strong clinical focus and international recognition. Students begin their clinical practice in the third year of study, earlier than in most other dentistry programs in the country, which significantly enhances their clinical competence and confidence before graduation. Upon completion of the program, graduates receive double qualifications: a certificate of graduation from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and an officially recognized degree from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. This dual certification, combined with early and extensive clinical exposure, prepares graduates to successfully pursue professional practice and postgraduate opportunities both locally and internationally.
